A word "from the podium"

While the 2023–2024 academic year is winding down, plans for the MGC sesquicentennial celebration are in full swing. If there is truth in the proverb “it takes a village to raise a child,” there is also truth in “it takes a team to plan a celebration.” The following names are at the top of my appreciation list as plans unfold for the 2024–2025 celebration year:

• Tim Best, MGC Alumni Society president
• David Ricci, MGC President
• Ryan Bieryla, MGC Vice President
• Tami Morris, Marketing and Communications for the School of Music
• Jayne Allison, Digital Content Coordinator for the School of Music
• Casey Cook, MGC associate conductor and accompanist

For 150 years (1875–2025) the Men’s Glee Club has been representing all that is good and right about The Ohio State University.
