ROBERT J. WARD
Dr. Robert J. Ward currently serves as Associate Director of Choral Studies at The Ohio State University, where he conducts the Men’s Glee Club, the Symphonic Choir, and teaches courses in conducting and choral literature. In addition to his teaching and conducting assignments at OSU, Dr. Ward directs the boychoir program for the Columbus Children’s Choir. Prior to his appointment at The Ohio State University, Dr. Ward was, for sixteen years, a member of the music faculty at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Ward has been honored with invitations to present concerts and lecture demonstrations for Central Division ACDA, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Choral Directors Association, as well as Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Ohio, Utah, Arkansas, and Louisiana Choral Directors Associations. In 2006 he served as conductor of the national youth choir for the Organization of American Kodaly Educators and in 2007 presented a session on sight reading at the national ACDA convention. He is currently the editor of a children’s choral music series and a men’s choral series published through Santa Barbara Music Publishers. In 2001 Dr. Ward was awarded the Director of Distinction Award by the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association and in 1997 was presented the Amoco Outstanding Faculty Award at Oklahoma State University for outstanding undergraduate teaching. He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Michigan State University.

MATTHEW EBRIGHT
A graduate of Pickerington High School, Matt Ebright received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the Ohio State University.
Matt currently teaches at Sounds Educational Center and at Generations Performing Arts Center in Westerville, Ohio and is the principal
accompanist for the Columbus Swiss Singers. In addition, he serves as the musical director for the Westerville South High School
Theatre Department. Last year, Matt had the opportunity to return to his alma mater where he accompanies the Ohio State Symphonic
Choir and the Men's Glee Club. In 2003, Matt acted as musical director for a New York/Columbus Equity production of Side By
Side By Sondheim. He has done studio session work for local artists and commercial advertisements and has performed at numerous
community events including Columbus Crew games, presidential campaign rallies, Oktoberfest, and ComFest. Matt continues to remain active
throughout Ohio as a freelance jazz/ rock pianist, accompanist, and arranger.
